Meet Rhonda, the heart behind Apple of My Eye Sweet Treats Bakery.
Baking is in Rhonda's DNA, inspired by the love, traditions, and treasured family recipes passed down by her grandmothers, Effie and Clarice. They taught her that the kitchen is where families gather, stories are shared, faith is strengthened, and love is passed from one generation to the next.
A family recipe. A leap of faith.
In 2020, Rhonda baked her grandmother Effie's apple pie and shared it with her pastor.
"You need to stop giving these delicious pies away and start selling them!"
Months later, she promoted them for the holidays-and woke to 20 orders.
Her father's candy apple receipe also became part of the family tradition behind the bakery.
